GENERAL INFO:

I tattoo in black and grey only.

I work at a licensed studio in the Logan Square/wicker park neighborhood of Chicago

You must be 18 or older to get a tattoo and you must have your ID present in person or we have to reschedule.

Bring a snack and water to your appointment

if you are sick let’s just reschedule, it’s no problem.

Make sure your schedule is clear for most or all of the day in case the tattoo takes longer than expected

moisturizing and exfoliating leading up to your appointment is very helpful

hydrate the day of your tattoo and do not drink alcohol the night before or after the appointment

there is free street parking around the studio

you should not get tattooed on antibiotics

I accept cash, venmo, and zelle

please do not come early to your appointment as this is my break time and I may not be at the studio to let you in or I’ll be busy cleaning and setting up between appointments. There is a really cute coffee shop right next door to us called Frera you can hang out in if you arrive early!

If you want to have a group tattoo (2 or more people are getting tattooed on the same day, send me an email and I will give you instructions on how to book!)

My minimum is $200. If you have a budget please inform me on your booking form. Upon reviewing your booking form I will send you a price estimate based on the placement and size you write in. For example ($250-$350) I’m estimating the tattoo will take around 1.25-2.5 hours. If we go over time you will only pay $350. My pricing generally falls around $150 an hour.

FLASH DESIGNS:

please see Flash on my website or on Instagram to book. My Instagram highlights are full of designs. I’m able to make slight and small modifications to Flash but if you want to change a lot that’s fine, but we will book it as a custom!

flash designs are a 50-dollar deposit that IS subtracted from the cost of your tattoo day of

CUSTOM DESIGNS:

include reference photos, detailed descriptions of your ideas, photos of tattoos I have done that you like, or photos of other tattoos (I don’t copy but I can reference other artworks to make you something similar but unique!) for custom designs you will receive your design via email at least the day before your appointment so you can approve the design and we can make any necessary changes.

small 6” and under 70 dollar deposit

medium 6”-12” 100 dollar deposit

Sleeves and backpieces will be priced accordingly depending on detail and size.

custom deposits are NOT subtracted from the cost of the tattoo, these cover consultations, drawing time, edits, etc.

REWORKS AND TOUCHUPS

I do enjoy doing touchups and reworks of old tattoos, bringing old linework that needs fixing back to life, and reworking shading and details. Please send me an email with a photo of the tattoo you want reworked to inquire about this before filling out the booking form so we can discuss it further.

I do free touchups on my own tattoos within the first year. You must wait at least 2 months of healing time before coming in for your touchup. You can book a touchup below

CONSULTATION INFO:

If you are ready to get a custom tattoo from me and have an idea in your head but this booking form isn't able to be completed because your idea needs more work or specific attention from me, email me @ theunderwatertrees@gmail.com to ask any questions or to set up a free consultation where we can look at your design idea together, map a specific placement, or do a drawing on the skin to plan your tattoo. At the end of a consultation, we will book an appointment for you <3 I am available for in-person consultations or face time consultations

consultations are also great for gap-fillers where we need to trace your other tattoos.
